What curtain heading styles does Freedom Tree offer?
Our made-to-order curtains are available in a variety of headers - eyelet, rod pocket, tabbed, and more. Eyelet, tabbed, and rod pocket curtains slide easily on a pole; hook and pleated curtains may require tracks. Specific heading styles can be selected on each product page.
Do Freedom Tree curtains come lined or unlined?
Our standard stitched curtains come without lining. We can add black-out and semi-opaque linings on custom curtains on request. Contact our team for details and costs.
How do I measure for curtains?
Measure from the top of the track or pole to where you want the curtain to end — floor, windowsill or below the sill. Add 15–20cm for the heading and hem. For width, your curtains should be 1.5–2.5 times the track width for good fullness. Eyelet curtains typically use 1.5x; pleat curtains use 2–2.5x.
Are Freedom Tree curtains machine-washable?
Most of our curtains are machine-washable on lukewarm on a delicate cycle. We recommend washing before first hanging to pre-shrink the fabric. Always check the care instructions on the specific product — some lined curtains may require dry cleaning.
Can I order curtains in custom lengths?
Our ready-made curtains are available in standard drop lengths. For custom lengths, we would be happy to tailor to your requirements with any additional features and embelishments. You may also purchase by meter and have it stitched by your own tailor.
