How do I clean a fabric lampshade?

Dust the shade regularly with a soft brush or a dry microfibre cloth. For light marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used carefully — avoid saturating the fabric. Do not wash lampshades in a machine or submerge them in water. Keep lampshades away from direct sunlight to prevent fading over time.

What bulb wattage is safe for fabric lampshades?

We recommend LED bulbs up to 10W (equivalent to a 60W incandescent). Avoid high-wattage bulbs — they generate significant heat that can damage or discolour fabric shades over time. Cool or warm white LEDs in the 2700–3000K range give the most flattering light.

How do I choose the right shade size for my lamp base?

A good rule: the shade's bottom diameter should be approximately equal to the height of the base, and the shade should be wide enough to cover the fitting but not so wide that it overwhelms the base.
