Description

Kufri is a snow-dotted hill station near Shimla in North India. We were inspired by the rolling hills with dustings of snow and texture when we named this beautifully layered woven fabric. The Kufri tweed from Freedom Tree is a textured heavy fabric upholstery available in subtle neutral and colored hues. The easy-to-maintain fabric is ideally suited to a quiet modern living space and it's durability makes it perfect for us in boutique hospitality spaces or resort-style villas.

Usage and care

Our specialty tweeds are hand-dyed and woven with artisanal care from a variety of slubbed and textured yarns. These unique weaves are ideal for low-use areas, as their delicate construction may be more susceptible to wear with heavy use.
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
Use a vacuum cleaner on low setting to remove dust and residue.
DO NOT spot clean or wash using any household liquids or detergents.
Dry clean only. Ensure steaming or PCE-based cleaning process is used, and not any chemical agents.
Be gentle with surfaces of textured and specialty fabrics. Avoid contact with sharp edges, studded clothing and other items that would damage the product.
