Description

Taking a leaf out of oriental textile traditions, this dramatic cushion has the Dance of the Yali as the central figures. Circling mythical lions, guardians of temple gates, are frozen in a standoff. Cloud forms, pilaster borders add to the rich narrative toile. The colors are earthy, terracotta against cool grey tones. The velvet fabric adds lustre and a quiet elegance to the cushion.
