AThe brand’s opus is synonymous with fresh colors and bold prints. 2025 marks fifteen years of relentless optimism expressed through vivid design and effortless styling. This year, we revisit our print archives, and, inspired by the past, we interpret new takes on our promise of
‘Good Design Everyday.’
The studio has created more than a thousand art illustrations and broadsheet prints. Even more drawings from which we derive furniture, textiles, ceramic forms, and artworks.
All that is asked of our creators is that the thought behind the idea be timeless, that it stays as relevant in years to come.

AEach print, with its careful balance of color, form, and texture, evokes a sense of place and a feeling of belonging.
Our landscape prints have included fields, trees, animals, and birds; and also icons from urban streets and lush narratives of the mind, illustrated as abstractions or as escapist toiles.
Stories embedded in India’s diverse environments are given voice and speak in the language of the place. Steadfast ancestral connectedness, turning into the promise of a golden future for all who are fed by the inherent richness of our land.

Responsible Design goes beyond environmental sustainability. It touches livelihoods, creative eco-systems, and has a cultural impact as well.

AStripes and color adjacencies are like “palette practice” for Freedom Tree. Every intensity of color is arranged in a harmony of hues. The actual woven fabric is produced with ‘mathemagical’ precision.
Championing sustainable yarns, our weaves are a victory in achieving brilliant color effects using up-cycled yarns. Working with limited colors, year on year, we design and make stunning yardages. Woven checks and stripes with cunning color creations intersecting in the warp and weft.
AThe design sensibility at Freedom Tree is a concept, a manifesto for happiness, the courage to be yourself. As we celebrate 15 years as a design house in 2025, we spotlight our origins and showcase our unique design expressions.
