Our Forest Vigil cushion is an ode to the tribal women of the Bastar forests who dedicate their lives to protecting their land. Knowing that the preservation of their trees and forests are vital to life and key in climate change mitigation, they form vigil groups to protect against illegal logging. Printed with trees, leaves, and shrubs on a textured cotton slub, our design celebrates the foliage of the forest with wood-cut inspired motifs, wavering striations, and a palette of warm hues. All the accent cushions in our Unbound collection are designed to sit together, so you can take a fearless approach to mixing and matching them at home.
